     This Information Report (#19) sheds light on the roots of the Labor Party, which began in 1930, i.e., before the establishment of the Israeli state in 1948.

The report details the internal differences and problems of the party. It explores the Labor Party platform, political vision, role in Israeli politics, and participation in Israeli governments. The report also includes a section that discusses the role of the party in the Arab-Israeli conflict; its role in the wars and its position concerning the peace settlement.
