Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies & Consultations presents the academic study “Performance of the Palestinian Legislative Authority 1996–2013,” by Aziz Kayed, who holds a Masters Degree in Political Science, obtained from the Jordanian University, 1993.

This study discusses the theoretical framework of the legislative council’s role. Then, it analyzes the performance of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) over two periods. The second period, which lasted from 2006 until the end of 2013, the author explores the PLC performance, starting with its first year and then further details after the split.

This study is a academic study that was published in the Arabic book of al-Zaytouna “The Palestinian National Authority: A Study of the Experience and Performance 1994-2013,” edited by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mohammad Saleh, 2014.
