Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies and Consultations in Beirut celebrated the publication of its 100th academic book with the release of Palestinian Documents for the Year 2009, which is the fifth in a series issued since 2005.
This book is added to a long list of achievements by al-Zaytouna, which has reached a prominent status among study centers in the Arab and Muslim world, and amongst researchers and academics. Al-Zaytouna has achieved a leading position in the field of Palestinian studies.
This list, which covers 8 years of continuous work, includes holding 26 highly distinguished conferences. It also includes publishing more than 2650 issues of the daily electronic newsletter “Palestine Today,” around 80 translations within “Al-Zaytouna Translations series” and around 50 strategic assessments, tackling the key issues related to the Palestinian issue. Added to all these are the training courses and academic consultations provided by the Centre besides dozens of articles and hundreds of interviews with different media outlets.
