With deep sadness and sorrow, and acceptance of Allah’s will, al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies and Consultations mourns the passing of Professor and educator Dr. Muna Haddad Yakan, a member of the Centre’s Advisory Board, president of Jinan University in Lebanon, and widow of the renowned Islamic leader, Dr. Fathi Yakan. She died on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at seventy years of age.

We ask Almighty Allah to have mercy on her and grant her family patience and solace.
