Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies & Consultations presents the academic study “Foreign Policy of the Palestinian Authority: 1993–2013,” by Prof. Dr. Walid ‘Abd al-Hay, a professor of Political Sciences at Yarmouk University and a member of the board of trustees of al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan.

This study discusses the foreign policy of the Palestinian Authority during the period 1993–2013. It displays international foreign policies towards the Palestine issue including those of the US, EU, BRICS, Japan, Iran and Turkey. It considers that the PA foreign policy developed in different stages after Oslo, and that it was focused on different themes. At the end, the author offers the readers an assessment of such performance, by stating the positive indicators in the international Palestinian scene, and the negative aspects in PA management of its international relations.

This academic study was published in the Arabic book of al-Zaytouna “The Palestinian National Authority: A Study of the Experience and Performance 1994–2013,” edited by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mohammad Saleh, 2014.
