Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies and Consultations in Beirut issued a new report on the US behavior towards the Palestine issue during Trump’s term. The 29th publication of the Information Report series was prepared by the Archives and Information Department and is available for free download .
The 64-page book explores the positions of the Trump administration on the central issues related to the conflict with the Israeli occupation; Such as the US position on Israeli settlements in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, the borders, Palestinian refugees and the two-state solution. It also discusses the US administration plan known as the “Deal of the Century.”
It also explores the US measures and sanctions against the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
The report talks about stopping US aid to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), in an attempt to end its role and change the definition of the Palestinian refugee, limiting it to the refugees who were expelled from Palestine in 1948, without recognizing their children and offspring.
It also discusses the pro-Israeli US position against the Palestinian resistance, whether popular or military, and it shows the central role of the US administration in concluding normalization agreements between the Israel and some Arab countries.
Noted that the Archives and Information Department has prepared this Information Report (29), with Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mohammad Saleh as editor-in-chief and Basem Elkassem the managing editor.
