Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies and Consultations in Beirut has published the Summary of The Palestine Strategic Report (PSR) 2022–2023, condensing a volume exceeding 400 pages. Timely amidst the ongoing Operation al-Aqsa Flood and the heightened Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

The summary addresses the current and future conditions in Palestine, including Palestinian demographic and economic indicators, land and holy sites and delves into the internal Israeli landscape. It also explores the demographic, economic and military conditions of Israel. Additionally, it features tables and illustrations pertinent to researchers and individuals interested in Palestinian and Israeli affairs, especially in population and economy domains.

The summary highlights resistance operations, tracking their numbers and evolution, alongside documenting casualties among Palestinians and Israelis. It also addresses the plight of prisoners and detainees, outlining their increasing numbers and geographical distribution. Furthermore, it explores the path towards peaceful settlement and discusses Arab, Islamic and international perspectives on the Palestine issue, including their development post Operation al-Aqsa Flood.

Since 2005, the Palestine Strategic Report has been issued periodically as a meticulously researched scientific report, addressing the monitoring, analysis and examination of the Palestine issue. This thirteenth volume comprehensively covers the developments in the Palestine issue during 2022 and 2023, while also envisioning future trajectories. Edited by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mohammed Saleh, the report is prepared by twelve experts in Palestinian affairs.
