The study includes an introduction and three chapters. The first chapter deals with the attributes of the discourse of both newspapers towards the Palestinian resistance, while the second aims to study the communicators in the two newspapers. The third chapter includes a discussion of the general results of the study and its recommendations, as well as its sources and references.

This is a descriptive study that uses the discourse analysis approach, survey method, and correlational method where systematic comparison is carried out.

The study data was collected through media discourse analysis form and a survey. The researcher used the theory of media frameworks and that of communication.

The researcher chose al-Hayat al-Jadida and Felesteen newspapers a sample for the study. The first is a daily newspaper affiliated to Fatah movement, issued by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. Whereas the second is a daily newspaper issued in Gaza Strip and is affiliated to Hamas movement. The study covers the period 2007–2012, for this was the time that witnessed the Palestinian division, where variation in views and disagreements between the two movements had its impact on the media of the two sides.

Furthermore, the book studies the communicators, and how the ideological and political tendencies of each writer shape his/her discourse. The articles that discuss the issue of resistance were selected using purposive sampling approach. The newspapers were selected using the systematic random sampling and the constructed week sampling. Communicators in the newspapers were selected through purposive sampling approach. The author studied 427 issues of each newspaper, totaling 854 issues.
