Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies and Consultations in Beirut, held a training course on 15–19/5/2017, entitled “Introduction into the Palestinian Issue” for a number of Malaysian post-graduate students in UK.
The course introduced the participants with the most prominent aspects and backgrounds of the Palestinian issue. The course included the following topics: The Land of Palestine, People of Palestine, The Palestinian Armed Struggle in the Course of History, The State of Israel, and The Current Situation in Palestine and its Political Map.
The course program included a field visit, in collaboration with The Palestinian Association for Human Rights “Witness,” to Burj Barajneh and Shatila refugee camps, in order to examine the difficult living conditions of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. Moreover, the delegation visited a number of institutions concerned with the Palestinian issue.
