The General-Manager of al-Zaytouna Centre Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mohammad Saleh participated in the workshop entitled, “Palestinians in the Diaspora between Theory and Practice: Role, Representation, and Challenges,” which was organized jointly by Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA) and Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA), on 1–2/2/2020, at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Istanbul, Turkey.

Saleh presented a paper entitled “A general view of Palestinians abroad and their historical and current role in the Palestinian equation.” He discussed their role in leading the Palestinian politics, national decision-making, leading the Palestinian resistance factions, and in supporting the resilience of the Palestinians inside Palestine, for they are their political, financial, media and mobilization source. Prof. Dr. Saleh also shed light on the role of Palestinians abroad in preserving the Palestinian identity and their right of return, and in the affective Arab, Islamic and international action that defends the Palestinian rights and fundamentals.

In this two-day workshop, 75 experts and specialists from 30 countries participated, where 27 papers were presented.
