As a reaction to the storming of al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish settlers, and in response to the Israeli plans to storm and evacuate Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, the resistance targeted with missiles the settlements in Jerusalem and the settlements in the environs of Gaza Strip.
During the Sword of Jerusalem Battle, the resistance forces bombed Israeli cities and countries with more than four thousand missiles and shells, and was able to halt Israeli plans and maintain the balance of deterrence, where two-thirds of the 1948 occupied territories were exposed to the resistance missiles. As for the Israeli military, thousands of shells and missiles targeted Palestinian civilian targets such as residential towers, civilian factories and infrastructure, however, it could not undermine the resistance military capabilities.
