A group of experts and specialists in Palestine studies and future foresight engaged in a focused, in-depth discussion on the anticipated trends and future directions of the Palestine issue in 2025, presented through video.
Participants discussed various key issues, including the future of Palestinian Authority and putting the Palestinian house in order in light of Operation al-Aqsa Flood and the Arab and international changes; the future of Israel’s domestic situation and Israel’s approach to the Gaza war; the future trajectories of Jerusalem; how Palestine’s neighboring states (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt) will address the Palestine issue; the future of Arab-Israeli normalization; the future of Türkiye’s and Iran’s approach to the Palestine issue; the international trajectory toward the Palestine issue; the future of Palestinians abroad engaging with Operation al-Aqsa Flood and putting the Palestinian political house in order; and the Palestinians of Syria and their repositioning under the new regime.
