This book offers a detailed and realistic account of Israeli prisons, examining the major changes that took place after 7/10/2023 compared to the previous conditions. It highlights the intensified targeting of prisoners’ psychological resilience, efforts to humiliate them, and attempts to sow discord among them. Despite the severe suffering and harsh restrictions imposed, the book also underscores the prisoners’ remarkable steadfastness.
This book is more than just a political speech or a human rights document—it is a historical testimony, a trial of human conscience, and a testament to the moral decay of the Israeli occupation. It serves as both a rejection and condemnation of its crimes, presented before a world that remains unwilling or unable to fulfill its duty to the Palestinian people and bring an end to the occupation.
This book offers a clearer picture of the daily struggles prisoners endure and the methods of repression and persecution employed by the Israel Prison Service (IPS). It also exposes the harsh psychological tactics used to break their morale. We hope human rights researchers and humanitarian organizations will find it valuable both as a resource and as evidence before international courts of Israeli crimes against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
