Nearly six months after the outbreak of the Israeli-US war against Iran, which involved extensive military confrontations and generated far-reaching repercussions beyond the immediate parties to the conflict, Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies and Consultations in Beirut presents a comprehensive record of the war’s course, the positions of the parties involved, and its outcomes. Information File (32) brings together hundreds of news reports, studies, statements and official releases in a systematic and rigorous 740-page volume.
Al-Zaytouna Centre has published Information File (32), titled “The Israeli-US War against Iran: Course of Events, Positions and Reactions, 28/2/2026–18/6/2026. 
” Available as a free download, the File provides a comprehensive documentary resource on the major developments of the war and their impact on the regional and international landscape.
It comprises nine chapters that chronologically and thematically cover the war from 28/2/2026 to 18/6/2026. They examine Iranian, Israeli and US positions and performance; the involvement of resistance forces; the positions of Arab and Muslim countries, as well as broader international responses; and key analyses and assessments of the war’s dimensions and outcomes.

Recognizing that the memorandum of understanding did not necessarily signal the end of the war, and that the following days brought renewed tensions and reciprocal escalation that could lead to renewed hostilities, the Centre has included this subsequent phase in the volume, with additional files to be prepared if necessary.
Chapter One traces the war’s military and political course, highlighting its major phases and developments, the human and material losses sustained by Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, Israel, the US and the Gulf states, as well as key evidence of war crimes and violations committed during the conflict.
Chapter Two examines Iran’s response to the war, including its official political positions, military and security performance, and popular reactions. Chapter Three, meanwhile, examines the political and military positions and activities of resistance forces, including Hizbullah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and Iraqi and Palestinian factions.
Chapter Four examines Israel’s response and performance, including its political positions, military and security performance, and reactions within Israeli society. Chapter Five, meanwhile, examines the US response and performance across the political, military and security spheres, as well as public reactions.
Chapter Six examines Arab positions, from those of the League of Arab States (LAS) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to those of individual Arab states. Chapter Seven, meanwhile, reviews the positions of Muslim countries, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Türkiye, Malaysia, Pakistan and others. Chapter Eight surveys international positions, covering the UN, the European Union (EU), European countries, Russia and China, as well as those of other states and international organizations.
Finally, Chapter Nine presents key reports, assessments, studies, and analytical articles examining the war and its political, military and strategic dimensions, as well as its implications for regional power dynamics, the future of conflict in the Middle East, and regional and international security.
Overall, the File combines chronological documentation with thematic analysis and a wide range of primary and secondary sources, making it a valuable reference for researchers, academics, and policymakers. It provides extensive material for understanding the war’s major developments and repercussions, as well as their implications for regional power dynamics and the future course of conflict in the Middle East.
Information File (32) was prepared by the Archives and Information Department at Al-Zaytouna Centre under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mohammad Saleh, who also served as editor-in-chief, with Dr. Basem Elkassem serving as managing editor.
